Citrali is a rare, pure Hindu Kush variety from Upper Chitral, a region in the Hindu Kush mountains. The plants vary in height from one meter to over three meters, depending on the conditions and the plant. The flowers are typically dense and resinous, with strong, sparkling "Kush" aromas. Phenotypes range from compact 'Indica' to taller, narrower 'Sativas'.
Upper Chitral was once one of the largest cannabis growing areas in the entire Hindu Kush, including Afghanistan. This ended when a crackdown by the government began in the 70s and 80s.
