Royal Thai was made using an Early Thai mother and a Skunk#1 father. Our Royal Thai provides the strong, uplifting high and unique chocolate taste that Thai is renowned for, but with better bud structure and a shorter flowering time.
This tall and lanky plant takes 10-12 weeks to mature and comes in three phenotypes. One is a typical airy, stretched sativa with a woody, piney flavour. The second leans more towards its Skunk #1 father, with sweet-smelling, beefy buds. The third pheno has the typical chocolate flavour Thai is famous for, but takes slightly longer to mature.
Due to her size it is best to reduce its veg time or veg under 24/0. She is very suitable for a scrog, but also performs well with up to 9 plants per m². Prune right before flowering and about 3 weeks into flowering for optimal yields. Longer curing periods hugely benefit Royal Thai’s aroma and effect.
The buds have a sweet chocolate aroma with a hint of roasted coffee. The taste is tangy and citrusy with a chocolate aftertaste. The high is cerebral, uplifting, clear and powerful, providing an ideal daytime medication for pain and stress.
