SPRING ONION - PRAGA (Allium Schoeneprasum)
A perennial plant measuring around 20 cm., with pointed holow leaves and mouve coloured flowers which have paper-like column bracts. I has a wide variety of usesin cooking which range from the most simple to the most complicated of dishes.
CULTIVATION: ligt fertile soil.Cutting begins three months after sowing. Grows well through the Mediterranean, as well as in cooler areas.
