White Widow has earned itself an amazing reputation since it was first introduced to Amsterdam coffee shops in the early 1990s. It wasn't long before its fame spread around the world launching a trend for "white" strains so-called because of their frosty appearance covered in THC-bearing crystals. White Widow is a seriously potent strain that was created by crossing a native Brazilian strain with a an Indian sativa.

White Widow is a great indoor strain which takes around 8 weeks for flowering to finish although it can also do very well outdoors in warmer regions where it will be ready to harvest in late October in the northern hemisphere. It provides great breeding stock and will find favour with those who are looking for a marijuana strain that is quite easy to cultivate but which has a powerful effect that hits hard and fast gradually evolving into a more relaxing effect.
